Payment and Insurance

Dental Insurance is intended to cover some, but not all of the cost of your dental care.  Most plans include coinsurance provisions, a deductible, and certain other expencses which must be paid by the patient at the time of services. 

Payment is expected at the time of service. If you have insurance, you will be expected to make an estimated paymentfo that portion not covered by your insurance.  We will file insurance claims for you.  If your insurance does not pay what is expected, you will be responsible for any remaining balance.  For that portion of costs not covered by insurance, we offer several payment options:

-Cash or Personal Check

-Credit Card - We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express

-CareCredit

A note about silver (amalgam) fillings versus tooth-colored (resin or composite) fillings: Some insurance companies will only pay for amalgam fillings.  If you have composite fillings placed, you may have to pay the difference between an amalgam and composite filling.  Composite fillings are used as the standard in this office but we do have amalgam available if you choose.  Please let us know what your preference is.
